The Agreement / Legal Disclaimer

1. The recipients of this summary email have associated together to purchase and own California State Lottery tickets.
2. The recipients each have an undivided interest in the tickets purchased and own the ticket(s) as tenants in common.
3. The ticket(s) which are the subject of this agreement consist of the number of rows for the abovementioned game type.
4. The number of individuals participating in this agreement is as outlined above.
5. No party (co-owner) to this agreement is under 18 years of age or otherwise prohibited by law from purchasing Lottery tickets or claiming a prize.
6. The total amount expended to purchase Lottery tickets pursuant to this agreement is $1 times the number of rows purchased.
7. The recipients mutually agree to designate David Berman, who is a party to this agreement, as the designated representative of all those who are parties (co-owners) to this agreement, and he is authorized to act on their behalf.
8. Should the Lottery tickets which are the subject of this agreement result in winning a trip to The Big Spin®, the designated representative has authority to represent the group at The Big Spin®. This authority includes the right to make any and all decisions required during participation in The Big Spin®.
9. The recipients recognize that the payment of Lottery prizes is pursuant to California State Law and Lottery regulations. Should the Lottery tickets which are the subject of this agreement result in a prize(s) for which Lottery regulations permit direct payment, then a claim for direct payment shall be made. Where such regulations permit payment of the prize to only one natural person, then the designated representative shall claim and hold the prize for the benefit of all co-owners.
10. By taking part in this lottery pool, the recipients agree to forfeit the right to sue the designated representative, as long as the designated representative follows all the rules above. Should a disagreement occur, the designated representative agrees to submit to arbitration.
11. Tickets will be bought once a week on Sunday for 2 MegaMillion (Tuesday, Friday) and 2 SuperLotto (Wednesday, Saturday) draws. At that time a player needs to have a minimum of $4, to be entered in all 4 draws, and/or a minimum of $2, to be entered in the 2 MegaMillions draws.
