- 1. This lottery pool plays the SuperLottto and the MegaMillions games.
- 2. Every player in the group invests $1 per game - this buys 1 row of numbers (5 numbers + 1 bonus number).
- 3. In order to participate in a game, a player must have funds of at least $2, to play for a week (in either SuperLotto or MegaMillions), or $4 to play in both SuperLotto and MegaMillions games for the week.
- 4. The SuperLotto is played on Wednesday and Saturday; MegaMillions is played on Tuesdays and Fridays.
- 5. The lottery pool administrator purchases the tickets on behalf of the group.
- 6. The lottery pool administrator participates in each game by contributing $1 for a row of numbers.
- 7. Numbers are selected via a random selection, called a 'QuickPick'. There are as many tickets purchased for each game as there are players, e.g. 10 players = $10.
- 8. Winnings of a game are distributed equally across all players who participated in that game.
- 9. After each game the lottery pool administrator sends a player-centric email to each player who participated in that game. The summary email contains:
-The player's funds remaining (including any distributed winnings from that game)
-The winning numbers -The numbers played - 10. Once a player's funds drop below $5, the lottery pool administrator will send a low-fund notifier on a daily basis.
-The payout summary taken from the SuperLotto or MegaMillions website
-The number of rows purchased for that game
-The number of players for whom tickets were purchased
